My hope is that we will see many families find hope and healing in the month of February.

On Sunday, Feb 5, we have an amazing blessing coming! Pastor Jim Henry, a hero of mine for over 20 years, will be here to preach at each of our morning services. Pastor Jim has planted and served as pastor of some of the most influential churches in the country and impacted thousands of lives with the Gospel. He is now retired and we are going to be the beneficiaries of his great preaching. If you have gotten out of the habit of attending worship, which happens sometimes, please use this as an opportunity to reconnect with us. If you know friends who are looking for a spiritual pick-up, please bring them with you. This will be an encouraging message on love that we won’t forget.

The remaining Sundays in February will focus on helping marriages. We will be talking about the fact that “Husbands and Wives Are Better Together!” Every family in our church and those adults and young people who believe God has called them to married life need to make sure you do not miss this series. If you know of any couples who are not plugged into a church, please bring them with you. Marriage in America is getting complicated and difficult. We are going to be encouraged by what the Bible teaches and get a renewed perspective on the blessing and joy of married life.

I have had a few folks mention that they did not believe the marriage series would apply to them because of their stage in life or because they were single. I understand that, but it is important to understand that you know many married couples that need to be here. Please invite them and bring them and pray for them, as you sit with them and encourage them. This series is one that our city needs. As we look to reach 1% and lead more people to anchor their life and hope in Jesus, you can invest in them and invite them to come and be blessed. Be that blessing!

Know that the elders and I are praying for you. God is at work in amazing ways at Living Hope and we all need to make every effort to join Him in what He is doing. Join us in praying for our worship gatherings and the ongoing ministries of the church. The need is great and our God is able to meet every need!
