My hope is…

We will see our church family get “Rooted” in what God is doing in and through our lives!

For the last 10 weeks, we have been looking at the 10 fundamental aspects of what it means to be “Rooted” in Christ as a disciple of Jesus. These messages have provided a great overview for an amazing experience that our leaders have had and that we are praying the entire church will enjoy. Because of the nature of the experience, we only have a limited number of spots available. My hope and prayer is that we will see our entire congregation become “Rooted” and grow deeper into what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. Please be in prayer for our “Rooted” leaders and for those that will be engaged in the experience this fall. You can sign up online, and the journey begins this September. If you cannot commit to “Rooted” this fall, be sure and clear your calendar in the first part of the new year and begin then.

One more thing to give focused prayer attention to is the Pregnancy Center. We are very excited to see the building being built, and Dolores Anthony was just affirmed to serve as Executive Director. Please pray for the upcoming volunteer training that will begin and for the women that will make their way to the center and into our lives. Also, pray for God’s continual provision. There will always be needs that cost money. We are counting on donations, but know there will be things we need to buy. If you have the opportunity to give a single offering or if you would like to give regularly to the Pregnancy Center, you can do that online (select Hope Center for Pregnancy under the “Giving Fund” dropdown menu).

God is at work at Living Hope! Through our people living on mission, our campuses, our venues, our Centers (Counseling, Pregnancy, and Recreation), our Local Impact ministries, and Global Impact work, we are joining God and making disciples. Pray for God to reap a harvest and great glory to His name through our faithful efforts.
