Wesley and Morgan started coming to the Hope Center for Pregnancy (HCP) with the circumstances of life staring them in the face and the weight of decisions in their relationship becoming heavier with each passing day.

In the HCP, we could see the hurt, the distance, and the frustration on their faces, in their eyes and between their relationship. With each conversation, the Gospel was shared and encouragement was given.

The couple quickly became involved in the Hope for Life program. They watched Earn While You Learn videos, met with an advocate who helped them walk through the brokenness of their current circumstances, and attended worship at Living Hope. After several weeks of attending service, hearing the preaching of the gospel, and seeing the love of Christ lived out in the Hope Center for Pregnancy, Wesley and Morgan both wanted to talk about baptism.

In the conversation that followed, Wesley accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, and Morgan began to understand what it means to live as a follower of Christ. Wesley and Morgan have started to be discipled in the word, and it has been a blessing to see them grow in their relationship with God and in their relationship with one another. We celebrate the transformation that has come about by the truth of the word and the power of the Holy Spirit at work in their lives.

We are excited to meet Baby Duncan in the next few weeks and to celebrate the life of a sweet girl whose parents have found a new life in Christ.

It is because of the generosity of the community and our church family at Living Hope that allow opportunities to share the hope of the gospel and the love of Christ to all who come to the Hope Center for Pregnancy. These opportunities are a blessing because we get to see how God is at work in the lives of people like Wesley and Morgan.
